So we've had our first not planned mating ...! For the first time in my 24 years of breeding! Vicky who did'nt show anything about beeing in heat, and none of the other boys showed any interest at all, was suddenly mated by Johnny in the garden while me and a friend was beside them talking! and with a successful tie! After the first chock I thought the combination would be quite interesting and I went and got her yeyes checked, which were fine, but then there was no sign of pregnancy so I thought she did'nt take. In fact, I looked at her only a week earlier and thought she was looking so good so started looking for shows for her! On the sunday of december 2:nd she still showed no signs of pregnance of pre-delivery. She had her breakfast, went out to play and then got her biscuit at 11, and then started to give birth to 2 black girls. all done after 2 hours and babys and mother are just fine! I have never experienced anything like it, just goes to show that every day learns something new.
These 2 girls are really meant to be and I wonder what the future has in store for them....?
